Beach

Went to the beach with le doggie and sister:

It's a super secluded and kampung-ish area, but I guess thats why its so clean and beautiful in a way. No civilization, no noise. Peaceful and untouched. Somehow even the mangrove trees are beautiful. It was low tide that day though, so we couldn't go in the water cause we needed to pass a muddy stretch that made our feet sink in. The water isn't crystal clear though, not like the waters around east Malaysia.

My sister isn't wearing boots HAHAHA. Remember when I told you about that muddy part. Yeah our feet sank in that deep f our lives hahaha.

So happy to see the doggie being able to run free and at full speed, something she can't do in our house or even at the nearby field. It took an hour to get there but seeing her so happy just made my day.

Also tried to take a full on running picture of her but HAHA so fail! This was the best I could do. I seriously dunno how photographers do it, like how do you manually focus on a fast moving subject? I guess there's still a thing or two I still need to learn.

Btw, if you were wondering where this is, it's somewhere in Banting, Klang. Can't exactly say where cause we randomly drove around until we found a nice stretch of beach.

Seriously though. I saw a lot of singaporean blogshops selling this and I've been wanting to get one since but never got around to it because well.. They're from Singapore. So it was a pleasant surprise when I received this!

In case you were wondering, the material is super thick and... There's adjustable straps leh! This may sound weird but yeah I loooove stuff with adjustable straps cause its just so convenient la! It's like a pet peeve of mine when I go into Topshop and all cause dammit their clothes just DON'T HAVE adjustable straps. I mean seriously, this top costs RM90 but you cant add in adjustable straps?? And a few people have agreed with me that it's inconvenient cause Topshop's spaghetti straps top are TOO low cut.

Ok I guess it is a bit odd that I've going on about a simple thing like adjustable straps LOLOL.

Off shoulder top is super stretchy and comfy too, but a bit too big for me. But then again, I am *unfairly* smaller than average. So obviously it would fit an average or bigger person better than me lor. But it's ok tho, nothing I'm not used to LOLOL.

2nd birthday

Doggie's birthday.. Uhh last last Sunday!

Got her a little birthday cake (Apple cheesecake!) (Honestly tasted really bland instead of you know, apple cheesecake LOL but IT IS baked specially for dogs!) (I was curious la!)

Looking very forlorn over her cake. Either because she knows she's growing older or because she was being made to sit in front of le temptation and not being able to just gobble it down HAHAHA. Yeah, I'd say it's the latter.

Can't believe she's two years old. Meaning we've had her for about 1 year 8 months now.. I can't believe I put up 1 year 8 months with this piece of shit.

At 4 months old:

Regretted not taking much pictures of her when we just got her. At the time she was already the size of an average dog and I thought she wouldn't grow much anymore. I was wrong obviously! This great fat lump weighs about 35kg (The last time I weighed myself in 2012, I was 37kg LOL) (Also try imagining having a great lump that weighs 35kg sleeping on your bed. When I wake up all groggy and small eyed, the last thing I want to do is gather the strength to kick her off the bed)

Frenchiebutt!!

I mean seriously. I usually get bored of pet instagram accounts cause they tend to post the same thing over and over again but I mean come on frenchiebutt?? For a dog, he has more facial expressions than me lor! From being grumpy to happy and everything in between la! If I could have another dog it would DEFINITELY be a french bulldog, such a precious widdle wee thing <3

Also, another favourite is Marutaro because he's so cute plus.. The photography & videography is awesome! I only wish I could take pics like that too but I don't think anyone would be keen on having a 35kg big black dog being let loose on the neighbourhood just cause some girl wants to take artistic photos for her instagram HAHAHA so that goes that idea. (Also cause Malaysia isn't really as dog friendly compared to places like Japan or Europe, I mean come on!! People bring their dogs go SHOPPING leh!)

Shopping addiction

I seriously think I have a huge shopping addiction problem. Every time I shop, I buy about 10+ items of clothings (online shopping.. psst everything I buy is super cheap by the way, thats why I can afford it LOL) (yup I'm very kiam siap ok) but the amount of occasions I get to wear them.. Well there isn't more than 10 occasions for that.

So naturally my clothes will sit in my closet for like dunno how long before I can wear them out. Not like I can wear them to mamak too, boyfriend will nag me about being overdressed  Then BEFORE I actually manage to wear them all out at least once....... I go on another shopping spree. It's crazy.

Like for example, recently I just ordered 13 items of clothing from china.. It hasn't arrived yet, but my current shopping cart has a total of......... 138 items HAHAHA LORD SAVE ME.

Obviously not going to buy them ALL. But out of this 138 pieces, I'm probably going to like single out about 10? Possibly 20? 

I swear this shopping addiction started so recently!! AND I THINK I KNOW WHY HAHAHA.

DAMMIT TAOBAO. Cause this is the time of the year where all the shops stock up on good summer clothes!!! Usually around October till next year February or March like literally ALL the stores will be selling winter wear and there is seriously nothing I like la (do I look like I own a sweater in this weather)

But it's okay cause now that I've identified the root of my addiction... I can justify it by buying more clothes! (Muahaha) Cause from October till next year I won't be shopping from Taobao anymore. So I'll calm down by then. For now I'm stocking up before the winter clothing crisis hits Taobao. Like um, hello, umbrella before the rain? LOL pretty sure that applies to SAVING MONEY in case of an emergency as opposed to SPENDING, but about the same concept right! And during the winter collection period I'll probably be skulking around Sungei Wang / Times Square like a predator hunting down its prey. WHERE ALL THEM CLOTHES AT, HIDE IT I'M COMING (Or you know, welcome me with open arms!)

Ok I also think it's because I've been staying a lot home lately. A LOT. Sooooo I have a lot of free time. Me. And the computer. Watching House MD. Aaaaaand Taobao. It's like a secret guilty pleasure website la LOL. But exams are over nao!! So no more staying home!! No more taobao!! I swear on it.

JK!! You can't seriously think I'm being serious.

But seriously tho. I think I'm getting out of hand. I'm not even sure what the heck I'm going on about (ADRENALINE RUSH!!! JUST HAD THE BEST DOTA GAME EVERRRR THAT LASTED LIKE 70 MINS LOL) (Edit: isn't it fucking weird how I get adrenaline rush from an ONLINE game, not like a PROPER game game. Like sports LOL) (ME. SPORTS. HA.) (MY OWN BOYFRIEND LAUGHS WHEN HE SEES ME RUN) (THAT'S NOT FAIR)

Tiarara Boutique

Did a shoot for an online boutique about 2 weeks ago. 

Safe to say... I will never do it again. 

I mean, it wasn't because the boutique wasn't good or anything, the boutique owner was super nice (i even bought my new Toshiba flash air memory card from her leh!), but it was just so WEIRD seeing my face all over. 

I guess i'm not at that stage where i'm totally comfortable with myself. I'm my worst critique.. And also.. HAHAHA AWKWARD MUCH. My face plastered everywhere, on a social platform that is NOT my own. 

But self issues aside, I personally liked their collection, as you can see from the stuff I picked out ^^ you can visit their fb or instagram for more clothes! (Also, brace yourself for the storm that is - my face. Everywhere. *awkward *self conscious mode on LOL)

Little pleasures in life: having chilli pan mee (or in my case, traditional pan mee chilli soup - I just love the fat noodles) with a bottle of cold coke, and good company (that is, my bf. Even if he is talking about dota a lot recently). Just some of the things we take for granted everyday, good food and good company. But I guess as human beings, we tend to focus more on what we DON'T have, making life more miserable than it actually is. 

Watched maleficent with this bunch of people i dunno *shifty eyed

Jk la. But how odd is it that I'm not even in the same school or college as 99% of these people, and somehow we just ended up being friends. 

Anyway, maleficent was a disappointment cause idk, i expected something really really great. But if you think about it, IT IS a disney movie aimed at the younger generation. Obviously I should've expected something more to that level than to expect it to be as good as inception (YEA AS USUAL, NOTHING WILL MATCH UP TO INCEPTION)

And the movie tickets were MORE expensive than the usual! Big waste la sial, especially since I have a bunch of free movie tickets at home (the only reason why I didn't use it was cause.. Premiere class actually sold out lol) (even gold class sold out leh) (which is cray cause a gold class ticket costs rm80) (i keep forgetting rich ppl exists LOL i mean srsly who pays rm80 to watch a 90 minute movie & don't bat an eyelash) (oh right rich people) (i mean come on they don't even play the ads and trailers much in gold class leh! I like watching the trailers before movie, I paid for it!!) (ok i'm done)

Also had good food (banana leaf at Raju's) before movie. Was alternating between omnomnom and yumyums cause it was sooo GOOD. Rice soaked in chicken, dahl and fish curry... That crispy sotong and the warm, tender flesh of a drumstick.. Yum yums OMNOMNOM. The last time I had banana leaf was a lifetime ago! (Yea as you can see.. I'm not really into hipster cafes LOL nvm I'm more hipsta like dat, hoho)

Ok end. I just realized for once i didn't go on and on ranting about something useless leh. Unless you count the above rant about gold class cinemas LOLOL. But srsly tho. I slept like 3 times in gold class cause the couch was SO SO GOOD (I TRIED TO CONTROL MYSELF) i was thinking about buying like the same couch for my room so you know, i can sleep on the couch... Instead of my bed.... Which is in the same room........ 

So much for not ranting. Goodnight world. 

Also, whoever says cockroaches are more afraid of you than you them are lying. It's a conspiracy theory *shifty eyes.

Don't get why some blogshops can't state the price of their goods along with their pictures, and when you ask, they'll give you their number/wechat/line and ask you to ask them for the price via whatsapp/pm/wechat/line. 

Sorry, but if I have to go through that trouble just to ask for the PRICE, then decide whether I want it or not... It's super troublesome, and I'd rather NOT. I normally, you know, see the price, make a decision, THEN get into contact, NOT the other way round.

I mean, whats the point? Are you hiding prices from rival blogshops? Marketing strategy to somehow make people ask and then make them feel obliged to buy it afterwards? I sure hope that strategy works, because it sure is driving lazy people like me away. 

Lets not forget instashops that....... private their profiles. It's super annoying, and not worth my time. Chances are, people would follow just to see their clothes, or they might not. MY chances are.. I wouldn't even bother. I mean, that's why people set their profiles on private right?? To stop certain people or strangers from seeing your info and pictures? OK, got your message loud and clear.

ps, why is there iphone emojis you may ask. Aha. Cause like the iphone addicted person I am, I can't take NOT having emojis. (Problems of having an iphone: Loss of words to express due to heavy reliance on iphone emojis) so I decided to save my emojis to my blog so I can keep using it hoho mafakas if the mountain can't come to muhammad, muhammad must go to the mountain.

Actually I think that phrase isn't appropriate for the situation, but whatever floats my boat!
